Demonstration Descriptions:

CMS esMD:  MRO will participate with CMS in a demonstration of our esMD gateway that allows medical record requests from Medicare and Medicaid auditors to be submitted electronically over the Nationwide Health Information Network (NHIN).  MRO has submitted more RAC shipments to date via esMD than any other organization, and we plan to maximize the use of this tool on behalf of our clients.  MRO will man a kiosk on a rotational basis with two other vendors.  If anyone from your organization would like to visit us at the kiosk, please contact Mike Rodgers (mrodgers@mrocorp.com) to arrange a specific time.

Direct 4 esMD:  While MRO staff will not be directly involved in this demonstration of an interface between the Direct Project and esMD, we have committed to be part of ONC’s pilot project, which is aimed at allowing providers to push medical records through esMD from a Direct Project endpoint.  Please visit this kiosk to gain a better understanding of the Direct Project, its application to esMD, and MRO’s planned participation.
