100 percent of MRO’s clients state they would hire MRO again
KING OF PRUSSIA, Pa. – June 25, 2015 – MRO, a leader in secure, compliant and efficient exchange of Protected Health Information (PHI), is cited as the Release of Information (ROI) vendor with the best quality and overall performance in the “HIM Services Performance 2015: Coding, Transcription, Release of Information” report1, which was released today by KLAS, a group that helps healthcare providers make informed technology decisions by reporting accurate, honest and impartial vendor performance data.
The KLAS performance report names MRO the overall highest performing ROI services vendor against two other ROI companies, IOD and HealthPort. On a 100 point scale, MRO’s reported overall performance score is 90.7; IOD is 87.5, and HealthPort scores an 81.0. Only these three ROI service providers had statistically adequate client bases to be included in the report.
Among the findings in the report, some were:
- MRO’s performance ratings in the sales and contracting, service and support and general categories nearly always were the highest of the three rated companies.
- 100 percent of MRO’s clients say they would hire the company again.
- 100 percent of clients agree that MRO always keeps its promises.
- MRO clients say the vendor’s quality meets or exceeds expectations.
- MRO is the only provider to have any clients say quality is “significantly higher” than expected.
One provider says, “Our quality should exceed 99 percent. We are looking for perfection, but we allow for a variance of one percent. And that is true on the front end with the accuracy of the data and throughout the MRO workflow to the back end.”
“We are honored and proud to be recognized for the high quality of our services, people and technology,” said Steve Hynes, CEO for MRO. “Based on the statistics and commentary in the report, we believe our clients view MRO as the partner with strong, responsive support, knowledgeable staff and innovative technology. Our clients can be confident they are working with the top provider of ROI services.”
MRO’s performance was first rated by KLAS in 2012, when KLAS formed the Release of Information services category. MRO has consistently received high performance scores, receiving “Category Leader” designations in both the 2013 and 2014 “Best in KLAS Software & Professional Services” reports. KLAS’ website and reports are a compilation of research gathered from websites, healthcare industry reports, interviews with healthcare provide executives and managers and interviews with vendor and consultant organizations. KLAS data and reports represent the combined opinions of actual people from provider organizations comparing how their vendors, products, and/or services performed when measured against participants’ objectives and expectations. The findings are not meant to be conclusive data for an entire client base.
